Unlike many consulting firms and advertising agencies, we have NO vested interest in recommending expensive modeling software, broadcast or print media, a celebrity spokesperson or a commercial shot in some foreign (i.e., expensive) location. Our only interest is creating a plan that gets results and discovering the path that takes you from where you are to where you want to be.
Our process starts with the answers to a few deceptively simple questions:
- What do you do better than anyone else?
- Does it matter, i.e., does it provide a compelling benefit?
- Can you make money doing it and if not, what else would you like to do?
- What do your current customers look like?
- Where are you looking for more customers?
- Why have you lost customers?
You may not have all the answers. That’s OK. We’ll get them. If there is one thing we can share before we start, it’s that your perceptions are different from those of your employees, your customers and your competitors.
Once we’ve gathered the answers, we draft a situation assessment which includes a S.W.O.T analysis. Then, we’ll collaboratively develop some objectives. These objectives are measurable, actionable, relevant and timely. In other words, they’re S.M.A.R.T.
Now the planning process kicks into high gear and we develop budgets, tactics, a timeline and a measurement plan. Our plans can encompass a selling season or your entire fiscal year, an event like a trade show or the strategic growth of your company over a five-year period.
